Yep, and it didn't say I could not add them, they were in the list of commands being committed as I pressed commit. I cleared out several I didn't need so there was definately room.

You have to have an empty droid memory bank to acceptdroid program chips that you have got off someone else! If you try to put them in on top of your own programs they doont work and disappear.

Thank you! I wasn't aware of that...feature. I did get some of those commands in but I'll give that a try - can't hurt.

No, you only need enough space. You won't get a message though - it simply destroys the chip and does not load. I had the same issue, and I did not empty my FC, the chip stuck after I deleted another program.

I bought and loaded a few programs, all but weapon overload 3 went in. I re-bought and installed and commited WO3 three times, and every time it confirmed then did not appear in the droid.

Anyone else know why this may happen? I don't want to buy a 4th 5th 6th time etc without an idea of what may be wrong. I am a privateer smuggler if that helps.

He is wrong, I am right! I did it myself with my droid progs once. Always always load the programs you are not trained to use first. And if you decide to change you programs by adding more chips you havent trained in you have to clear the droids memory of your natural progs (at least, maybe even give them a wipe!)!

Wonder how I kept my shunt cap to shield and capacitor overload programs when I added another engine overload last tiem then - I did not delete them, nor did I delete my weapon overload, and it worked still.

When you load one too many programs, it doesn't always give you a warning message - it doesn't matter if it's on a chip or not. Test it. What happened was your chip was just a little too big, so it didn't load, I've had the same thing happen to me with programmed chips and my own programs.
