What should I do next? I'm looking to hit Master now as I have put it off for too long, What would you suggest?
Also how long will it take? If it helps i'm using a y-wing, and its pretty decently hooked up so far. Thank you for any and all help!

2322 for sure. Always get equipment first or else you'll be underpowered for further missions.
Stay ahead of the power curve like this.
Oh, and get a Longprobe if you aren't using one already. You said Y-Wing, but not sure what kind. Not sure how long it'll all take. A week to mastershould do it if you put a few hours in a day.

Should i be grouping or am i still able to fly solo?

You should be ok solo. Maybe you'll run into amission or two that you need help on, but nothing major.
You'll know it' s alongprobe because the top gun will fire and not require a gunner to use it. The regular Y-Wing needs a gunner.

I went to 3222 for the X-Wing myself ... I hated the maneuverability (or lack thereof) of the Y-Wing, I actually went back to the Z-95.

The Rebel pilot tree is the only one where I'd recommend doing this, especially as a soloist. I was willing to sacrifice better equipment for one mission than fly that damned Y-wing again!

the y-wing is pretty manuverable if you know what to do with it. I find that droping down in its acceration allows for very quick turns, then boosting it back up to catch your target helps.

I agree. I know Master Pilots that use the Y-Wing because it's an excellent ship.
I say stick with it for a while. I mean, the mass alone makes it something you can always use.
