I soooo hope i get home in time to strip my ships down =(

7:26 PM, PST.

clock out at 9: to 9:30 PST...

Hour commute..

Home at 10 to 10:30..

Everything in all my ships is RE'd stuff.. must.. strip... ships.. down...

Eh....anyone mention to u about the massive server crashes tonight? Mabye it's just ahazi but I haven't been able to login and strip my ships all afternoon. Been trying since around 5pm (4 hours ago). Apparently lots of users are protesting this CU by having massive gatherings in major cities. Rumor has it that they will be going after other servers as well...

Why can't the devs build in a script the disasembles all ships prior to the upgrade. This is kind of ridiculous that players may need to do this to save their parts.

Just be sure to pull all your components (or at least your weapons, ordnance, and countermeasures) out of your ships before your server's taken down for extended work. There's more information in the pilot forum.

I have two accounts maxed out with characters who all have their own ships. It took forever for me to strip them all down. Lol! I can't believe they are pushing this thing live with all the bugs. Don't expect them to fix them either. There are bugs that never got fixed from day 1. JTL is the only thing keeping me in this game at the moment. I thought at least the CU wouldn't hurt pilots. How wrong I was.

Technically this is an RotW "basement code" problem, not a CU problem. We're not sure anything is being turned on, converted, changed, activated what have you, we are just playing it safe.

what's all this about stripping components out of ships? i haven't read up on the CU, am i missing something important?

There's a bug that may come in with the CU that can cause some weapons to disappear and others (along with ordnance and countermeasures) to be loaded in parts of the ship where they shouldn't be. To prevent this, you should pull your components out of your ships before your server goes down here.

I did the same thing as you with the newbie ship, but Gorath comes back about 12 hours ahead of Starsider. Can you let us know what happens with it once your server's back up?
