no all the new ships are for everyone its been stated already in a chat
edit: as it to be that only imp can talk to him at the moment that might change to a point to lets say neturals talk to him but not rebels, but once you to the quest you can keep the ship as stated all the new ships are for everyone.
Its not written in stone as it being a darth quest. we will know when the expansion comes out.

Don't think this statement is correct. Think the new X-wing is for Rebels and the new Ties for Imperials. Don't see it any other way nor stated otherwise. Don't know about the Jedi Starfighter. Time will tell.

What certifications will be required to pilot the new starships, especially the Episode 3 ones?
The new Episode III ships in the Rage of the Wookiees – Anakin’s Starfighter, Grievous’s Starfighter and the ARC-170 will not be faction specific and the required pilot certification for all the expansion ships will be tier 4.
