As long as you get the preorder box with the cd-key to the beta disk inside, you'll get your speeder. Even if the beta servers are closed, the cd-key is..the key! You don'r need to get into beta to claim your speeder, Once you get the cd-key, just enter it at the site listen on the cd case leaflet.

Oh, and as for Gamestop and EB, yes...they need to communicate with each other, and you, more. They should have told you, by placing a preorder with them, you will be a preorder JTL box that has the beta cd and key. It would be shipped to the store, and they should have called you saying they had the preorder disks in. I was assured there would be a preorder disk for everyone who preordered...while supplies last. So, don't expect a beta disk if you preordered a few days before the game comes out.

When i went in Gamestop one day, I casually asked if the JTP preorder disks came in yet. The guy I asked said "no". When i was leaving, another employee, who knows me, said "Hey, we have the preorder disks here now...came in a few days ago.". I have read of quite a few peopl asking GS or EB about preorder disks for JTL, and get shrugs and confused looks from the employees.

Perhaps, they will get you a disk eventually. Stay on target! Bug them (not SOE, they don't control this)! As long as you GET that cd-key (beta doesnt matter), the flash speeder is yours at launch.

Okay. I can help you out here!

When you pre-order, what you are doing is paying for the full version of JTL before it comes out. This way, you are assured you will be recieving a copy at release day. (some places just require a down-payment though...)

Now, some places, like Electronic boutique and Gamestop, offer a few free perks if you preorder JTL with them:

- you will be bromised a copy of JTL at release (like anyone else that preorders...but)

- you will also get a "preorder box" which has a disk for the beta test, and invite, and the flash speeder.

Gamestop and EB do this, because they want your preorder money. So, they offer some bonuses. you use the same beta key as your key to get the Flash Speeder. All you need to do is regester the cd-key. No need to actualy play beta... The flash Speeder is a gift for those who pre-order JTL now, and who did it at either Gamestop and EB.

The Veteran Ship: Your account must be active for 6 months or more. Not from JTL release, but from when you activated your account. If you've had an active account that long (and not deactivated, reactivated, etc. or if so, for a span of 6 months...) you're okay. If you haven't, you'll get it when you reach 6 months.

Yeah, i have had the same issues, (not with JTL preorder cause i havent done it), but with EB sales people. I preorder EQ2 from them in-store. The young girl there working put the order down and said i was good to go. I said "shouldnt i be getting the pre-order disk? The one with the character generator?" She was like "No nothing like that is coming out this early". When right behind her were the PREORDER BOXES!!! I could go to friggin BEST BUY and pick one up right at that moment!

So needless to say, its like i have to FIGHT with the sales people to have them understand how their job works. What the hell is wrong with these people?
