Just wondering if anyone at all in the higher ups have considered this.

I would like to be able to purchase a registration code for JTL without having to buy the game in a box to get the registration.

For me, living in Australia, i would far prefer to buy just the "registration key" than a box that i would have to wait up to a week for just to get a registration anyways.

Im happy to download the updates as i suspect many would be as well.

Buying a "registration" would cost the same as if you where to go into the shops and buy it, it jsut would save you and i a mountain of time, i wouldnt have to pay double for shipping costs and it would also be instant which is my real goal here. I want to play JTL when it goes live, not wait a week for a registration.

And it would make sense to me from a SOE point of view as well, they would not need to make so many "hard Copies" thus saving them momeny if they could jsut send outthe "registration key" via email ifpeople where prepared to buy "just the registration"

What does everyone else think about it?

but on the launch pad it says you can make haste by downloading about 150MB so that you have all the files ready straight away for when JTL goes live.

So why do you need the CD's other than the registration key if you can download the files that you need anyways.

Im already in beta and had to downloaded the JTL beta, so why cant i just update that client file with a "puchased registration key" and the download what i needwhich i can do in under a day as compared to waiting several days for the registration keys.

For you guys in the US, getting the game in a box isnt such a big issue, but for those of us that are international the ability to download the game if we agreed to purchase a "registration key" would be far more appealing that waiting several days to do the same thing.

I dont see why they cant allow you to buy a key then email you a link to download the whole game either, altho obviously that 150MB you talk about is just the stuf you need for SWG if you DONT have JTL (ie to show the new characters, emotes and other stuf that everyone will be able to see in game).

Sounds like a good idea to me, a 600MB dowlnload isn't too bad Nice option methinks.
