Thread: Clean beta uninstall?

Hi,
Asimple question:
Is it enough to go to the control panel:add/remove programs to completely uninstall JTL beta?
- If not, what else is needed.

if JTL doesnt have its own Uninstall program then yeah, i'd do a add/remove on it. But like the other poster asked, why are you uninstalling it? Beta cant be that bad.

Well I want to uninstall it because im not 18 and was lied to so, so I want it gone before I get the real JTL.

for months they've been saying under 18 people wont be able to get into beta. When i say months i mean MONTHS. People had fare warning. Only Fan Fest player under 18 were allowed in and that was through a long winded process of SOE calling your house to talk to your mommy and ask if you can play JTL beta. Their had to be forms signed and all this other stuff. For people who were not in FF, well they just had to accecpt they couldnt get in.

Well if the JTL Beta has no uninstall feature then yes i would go to the control panel and the add or remove programs and do it that way. then do a scan disk then a defrag. and you will be about as JTL beta-free as you can without going into the registry, which you shouldn't do unless you know what your doing.

I didn't state I would be uninstalling it now...after release though.Trying to keep ahead of things I am.
Anyone tried the Add/remove programs. Is there a bunch of rubbish left or are the beta folders + registry keys completely removed?
