Thread: Where is the Pre-Order key if I preorder from EB?

I was just reading all the notes on the Launchpad and it said you need 2 keys ready to claim the Flash Speeder, the Pre-Order key and the retail key. The pre-order key is not on my receipt... will I get it when I pick up the game?

I believe the date was the 22nd from EB, if you pre-ordered before then you should have gotten or will get a beta disk. You will need to use that code to get your flash speeder. And the retail code to play the game.
I think gamestop ran out like the 14th or 15th people are saying.

I preordered on the 17th (Sunday)but they don't remember them taking my address

You should have gotten an email from EB about the order to confirm it and provide you with a link to check your order status. Came from like [email protected] or something like that.

I did it by walking into the store, not online... is this flash speeder promo only for "online" preorders? I still paid in full, rather than putting $5 down to reserve it.

I pre-ordered 3 copies at the EB store and got the 3 disk for the promo last week. It was not only for online.

I also preordered & paid for the expansion in full on Oct 17th at a local GameStop & got my beta box/cd right away. The key is on the back of the beta jewel case.

so people who pre-ordered, but not in time to get into beta, wont get the speeder reward for pre-ordering? i dont remember being in beta as a condition to get the speeder reward. only that you had to pre-order.

Interstingly if you signed up for beta with the code on the back of the box, you can get your speeder now, even if you don't have JTLS yet. The speeder seems pretty weak though. I only gave it a 2 minute spin... it was incredibly slow going up a hill, and it only has1500 health. Basically it's a piece of garbage that's only use is for that rare time nightsisters shoot all of your speeders to death

The issue is the "pre-order key" is the CD Key on the back of the beta CD. Without that key, no flash speeder.
However, others have posted that EB Games got more keys and will be sending them out to people who did not get the beta CD.
