Thread: Troubles with mission spawns.

Okay, so a friend of mine is working for Brother Esikiel and he is on the mission after you get your first tier 3 skill, the bothan mission. After completing several stages of the mission, you're supposed to patrol space. After a bit, you are told to inspect a Blacklight leader for something leading to their leader.
Now, after about an hour of shooting down Blacklights and wondering what's going on, this seemingly endless mission has some oddities about it. The mission targets (the pirates) don't have a little red box around them like normal missions. Does this mean something is broken? Any response would be appriciated, this is getting tedious.
I've already posted in the Tech Support forum to no avail.

Sound like a duty mission, duty missions you can cancel by clicking the end duty option in the radial menu in your datapad. You will get duty missins untill you have enough xp to level up. Then you will get new missions
