Thread: Is this a bugged mission?

This is going to sound stupid, but did you complete everything for the mission in the correct order? It sounds like you've missed a mission trigger somewhere. Maybe there's an escort that you're suuposed to kill first, before docking, but you arrived too quickly for the escort to spawn?
Try flying around the target for a while before engaging it.

I believe if you read your instructions more carefully, Disabling the ship will be mentioned. You haven't done that have you? Use [ or ] to target a subsystem, and knock it out.

So i go to train at the yavin 4 rebel pilot trainer, to get the Y probe certification, he gives
me mission to investigate a ship, i go to the waypoint, get close, hit I to investigate,
says this is the ship and type /dock to retrieve, i do so and it tells me i dont have access.
I rinse and repeat this mission several times to the same problem, does anyone have
any suggestions. I started my missions on Tattoine through the mos espa trainer if
that should give you any insight to my problem, please, i cant advance without getting
this mission, and he wont give me another until i complete. PLEASE HELP

this is really frustrating, i can not advance any further now. I have to steal the imperial patrol routes.
How do i do so without docking? or staying near it for a long time. please help
