i really like SWG but JTL is really beginning to frustrate me im a imp pilot 3-3-2-2 and i tryed 100 of times to complete the last 2 tie 3 missions and i fail big time can kill enought enemys!!! I know i need to get friends with me. problem is not many from my guild has JTL and thoose who have are a rebels i also asked alot of Imp aces for help but until now nobody wants to help.

Point is why cant we just get the skill boxes like the ground game i got way enought xp to get the last 2 skill boxes really hate the concept doing a mission for skill box, nothing is more annoying in doing the same mission over and over again!!

plz tell me you appinion

I love it, wish there was more of it, and think it's too easy? (you did ask for opinions)

What squadron do you fly for? Black Epsilon has some nasty gunboat missions in T3, you'll probably definately want a wingman until you get bomber strike.

Try helping other folks first, so they'll owe you on a few missions. Play with your pilot tag up. Are you running droid programs yet? What type of ship are you flying - there's a big difference in the role of the TIE Bomber versus the TIE Fighter. Are your guns up to date? If nothing else, offer to pay a wingmate - 50k can be tempting if they like flying and just need an incentive to run with you.

Personally,I think the squadrons should be harder. Getting "Master" or "Ace" should mean something, and should be limited to the few who can pull it off. I still think Kessel should be PVP, and NPC's should launch more missiles again.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

All Imp's squadrons' Tier 3 missions are quite a challenge.

SS, well, if you haven't heard already about it...
BE, some early Gunboat missions,
II has you trying to dock to a ship amongst a unlimited wave of ships.

Trust me, the practice will pay off. Tier 3 boosted my skills a lot.

Bring a guild ace. I've been ace for quite awhile now, and I can cut through T3s like butter.

Try getting a TIE bomber, learn to fly slow and shoot accurate with it. Outfit it with the heaviest guns/armour/shields you can find. Run capacitor overload3/Engine overload 3. I have used the bomber for my 4th tier as well because you cant beat the mass on that thing 180k range. I stand head to head with gunships in it and I have managed to solo up to 4333 so far. Now I need to grind 1 million xp too so that sucks. I wish it was just another mission to try and fail 10 times before I refine my tactics and complete it.

Oh noes, I have to actually do some space combat instead of mindlessly grinding 'experience'.

Just thought I'd quote it here too, since it applied

Yep! Im a mercenary on Bria Galaxy and have helped alot of people in my time. The quest is to become the best of the best and it takes getting used to programs, aquiring programs, using them in combination with ship components and your flight skills.

To put it plainly it takes skill to be a masterpilot and you dont get a promotion unless you prove yourself in situations. The whole thing about pilots is they live on the EDGE to be the best they can be. I think JTL has lived up to it in so many ways.

I love JTL and love the story arcs to getting your masters pilot licence to fly the big ships.
