check in the options menu, under the controls tab. there should be an option to use your mouse for control, i cant remember the name though. I had that problem to, and it was becouse i had a steering wheel installed wich got automaticly detected as a joystick. in this case going in the options menu from your launchpad and disabeling the "use joystick" thingie should work to.

hope this helped

I just re-activated my SWG account after an almost 1 year absence, and the whole JTL expansion is therefore totally new to me.

The flight controls and lack of in game help regarding these however have me so frustrated I on on the verge of cancelling again already.

After finding my pilot trainer and asking for training, I am given a ship and told I must complete some missions before he will train me. So I load up my ship, with no help whatsoever as to how to contol it.

The holocron instructions tell me to contol thespeed using W and S - this is fine. HOWEVER, they also say control your direction using the mouse - TOTAL RUBBISH! All the mouse does is change my view, I continue in the same direction, just looking either out of or at my ship from a different angle. I can perfrom VERY cumbersome turns using A and D, but can in no way move up or down.

So, having totally given up on space, i decide to just land my ship. Due to the fact that I cant control it I figure out how to auto-pilot it to the space-station. Here I have another prblem. The guy pops up asking me to confirm my identity, etc and I get a few options asking if I would like to land, etc. However, I have no mouse cursor to select any of these options - I only gain a mouse cursor my pressing ctrl+H tobring up the holocron (or any other interface window).

Also, my action buttons only appear when I have an interface window open.

Please Help!! This is the mot annoying thin I have ever come across in an MMO, and I've played em all!

Go here my friend, all of your questions are answered:

The whole thing is very similar to any other space flight sim out there. I do recommend getting a joystick though. Just practice, you'll get the hang of it.

Hit the Alt Key. That will take you mouse of of view mode. Just like the ground portion. Your hot keys should appear after that also.
