Is the JTL "retail" somehow different than the JTL "retail beta"? Last night I went to a store and bought the "JTL Pre-Order", assuming it would also work as the full JTL. I put in the registration key and got my Flash Speeder, but the launchpad still shows up as JTL being not enabled.
Is something buggy, or did I buy a useless package?

I pre-ordered JTL (full) & first received a JTL Beta CD (about 2 weeks ago).
Today I got my JTL CD.
Both with different Registration Keys.
I don't exactly know what your situation is, or what you bought, but there are definetly 2 different versions.
Seems kinda lame for a place to sell beta on 10/26, when beta servers (i think) went down on 10/25.
I'd check with the store & see what they have to say. You may just need to re-visot them to pick up your "real" copy of JTL.

Says right here on the site, main page, that you need to uninstall the beta before you install the retail. You get two different cd's, two different registration keys. Hope that helps.

Aah.. ok. So the EB I bought it from has no idea what they're doing, as they didn't mention my needing to come in to pick up the full version, or take my name or anything. *shrugs*
Guess I'll give them a call. Thanks for the advice!

yup,i did make a reservation for the game oct 26th at EB,they gave me the pre-order box which gives the beta spot (which i already had and anyways beta was over so not a biggy) and i got my speeder and today i need to go get the full retail version.
Aint it nice to "pre-order" and get it the day after.
