I am looking for how large the second JTL patch is. The one that you get once you install JTL and register it. I am on dial-up and I would like to know how long I will be downloading this second part to JTL. Thanks in advance!

Well, I'm on a cable modem and it took me close to 30 minutes to download it. :/ I'll pray for you.

Thanks guys... so it looks like I will get to play teh game a couple days from now. Why couldn't they put this final patch out over teh course of the last couple days? It would make us dial-up people happy since it wouldn't be all at once. Especially those of us on dial-up who use 98SE and not 2000/XP.

Do you know anyone who plays that has a broadband connection? If you do put all of the recent "patch" and "hotfix" files onto a CD and place them in your SWG folder. This isn't all of the files, but they are almost always the really big ones and the patcher will scan for the files and only downloads what is either missing or corrupt.

If it wouldn't take the same amount of time I would send you the files. What I do, and I have broadband, is after any large update take all of the hotfix and patch files and place them on either a cd or on another hard drive, just incase you need to reinstall it later. Saves a little time that way.
Good Luck

Thanks for the advice and vote of good luck! I unfortunely live in a broadband deficient area. Dial-up is all I have and I won't touch satellite since it isn't a viable option considering the price and the Fair-access-policy. It's the FAP that makes the price unattractive. Not to mention the huge problem of latency. I am impatiently waiting for the day that I get to hear those words, "Broadband is available in your area now."

150 Megs? Nah I doubt that seriously. I patched JTL in about 2 minutes with broadband. It is a fast connection, but I cant' DL that much in 2 minutes.

not sure the size of the 2nd patch, but I'm on dial-up with a best connection speed of 52K and it only took 45 minutes.
