JTL Beta does not come up in my uninstall program app. Is the best/safest way to uninstall just to delete the Folder?

I asked this question a few days ago but never got an answer. Hopefully someone will today.

The beta isn't showing up in "Add/Remove Programs" ??? That's a bug...Nothing like getting one final bug as beta ends, huh? Just to confirm, you went to Start->control Panel->add/remove programs (or Start->settings->control Panel->add/remove programs)? I've uninstalled mine from there.

I believe if you just delete the folder you should have no long lasting bad effects...should. YOu never know with SOE. There will be a few entries not cleaned up in your registry, but I think they are just location pointers. Can anyone confirm this? I've already uninstalled beta and can't check my registry for JTL Beta entries.

Yeah it's not showing in the add remove for some reason. I still have the install.exe and I just used that to remove it. Nice tip!

Ok, sound like you have a bad install. Try re-installing the JTL Beta CD over the current install then unintalling from Add/Remove. You may have had a corrupted install that neve showed itself ingame. This has happened to me in other games before. By installing over your old install, you should be able to fix the bad files. That should let you uninstall properly.
