Thread: Kessel Rebel or Neutral NPC spawns...where are they?

I normally log onto Naritus or Intrepid around 6:00 to 7:00 pm during the week and around noon on Sundays. I rest on Saturday. I have three pilots, two of which are 4433 Frelance and Rebel. The third in 2322 and climbing. I go to Kessel with the two big guys almost every time I log on. Kessel is empty. With the exception of the occasional tier 5 gunboat, I have found very lettle to hunt in Kessel. When I need XP I normally go the Endor of Dathmir and hunt tier 4-5 ships. Less XP per kill, but lots more kills per hour.

This may be a common issue, and if so I apologize, but has anybody else experienced a severe lack of NPC spawns in the Kessel sector? Over the last few days (I just got to 4/3/3/3 Imperial Pilot over the weekend) I have been there numerous times looking for NPC's and only once did I actually find any, and they were only there around the Rebel Corvette. (I am specifically looking for Rebel or Neutral NPC's.)
This lack of NPC's available on a regular basis is making my last few boxes of pilot VERY hard to complete. (I prefer going to Kessel for two reasons related to this - First, the XP is much better per kill & second, I am compelled to continue to improve my pilot skills vs. knocking down tier 1 or 2 NPC's with 3-4 well placed shots for minimal xp). Anyway, wondering if my timing is just really bad or if the spawns are really that rare.

Kessel is quite empty, there's nothing you can do about.
Ever tried Dathomir or Endor? Regular spawns of tier 4 fighters. Plus the gunboats in Dathomir give nice XP.

Thanks for the info on Dath / Endor - I've been there some, but mostly for the pilot missions vs. just hunting. I'll check it out!

i have found 3 wpts that are a steady spawn of reb / imp fighters engaging each other, all about 7-8k apart in a pyramid. if you are on wanderhome (gmail hastur) i'll be glad to send them to you. i like to hit these and just run a patrol between them killing all the rebs at each one. nice thing is, you have lots of friendly fire support if you get in trouble.
i also find it a much more leisurely experience than deep space. in ds it is easy to get too much nme lovin at one time, kessel, not so much

i recomend you go to kessel overt (wink wink), that way you get ~50 fp for each explosion.
