OK, im only partially knowledgable on this subject, so take this with a grain of salt, but as far as i know, you do a mission from the theed Space station, and it gives you access to the emps retreat, as for actually landing once you have clearance, im not sure, i figure the flight controller will give you the option to land at the retreat in the list of cities, once you do the mission. I havent actually done the inquisition yet, mostly storm squadron, so im just going by memory from what i read on the forums some time ago. Hope this helps.

Once you start the Inquisition, and you arrive at the Naboo spaceport ot Royal Way I believe, the Space Station commander contacts you and tells you a freighter is under fire. You have to go fight off the enemy ships attacking it, then take the data it was carrying to the Yavin system. Its not a tough mission at all, just takes up a little time. After that, you get teh Emp. Retreat landing permission as a reward.

How do you do that? I just started the Inquisition and I would hate to have to travel to and from the retreat constantly. Is there a way to land there? I thought I read soemwhere that you did a mission or something and you can land there?

Yeah, what they said..

Its a mission you get from Naboo station to protect a Imperial freigher. Once you've done that, the pilot will ask you if you can delivera warning message to the Yavin system (I think) where you battle with a few waves of rebels.

At the end of it, the mission says of talking to some pilot at the Emp retreat, as you goto Naboo station, there should be an extra option of landing at the emp retreat, and you can talk to the 'Imperial Pilot' guy near the front doors & he'll give you some credits & confirm that you now have permission to land there.

Also note that youCANT use the 'Travel' facility to land there, its only accessable via Naboo Station.

Yes, it works like that. The yavin part can be a bit difficult, with waves of enemy fighters, so if you can, get a friend to keep them off you while you dock (ok, doing it in the starter TIE may be a bit difficult).

Pass from the main room with the 2 royal guards to the second part of the retreat towards Vader. Ship terminals are in the first room to the left.
