Ive been trying to get my Master Pilot Quest done for over a month now. Ive tried everything I know to get it done correctly. I go into kessel and use the known waypoints to find the Rebel Corvette. It either gets bugged and doesnt spawn or It does spawn and I cant find anyone to come and help me or even answer my pm's and then I get blown up. Today I waited in Kessel for 4 hours. I cruised the entire area and I didnt even see a single Corvette Spawn. Ive made plenty of Threads and posts on this forum asking ppl to help me or if they know of anyone to help me. All i ever get back in response for asking someone to help is. "oh you dont need a grp, I solo it all the time without any help". So heres the last time im posting for help, after this I think I will just call it quits. Cause its just not worth it. Ive spent at least 800k+ on new armor cause i would get killed by the Corvette cause no one would help me. So if your on Bloodfin and your an IMP or Freelance just send me a /tell or email. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm an imperial ace and here are my tips for passing that pesky corvette.

Tie Aggressor - You are flying the aggressor I hope? If not get one. The extra mass is more important in this mission. A tie bomber might be ok as well.

1. Shields - Keep blowing up everything in sight until you at least have 2000/2000 shields, I was lucky and found 2500/2500 around that time.
2. Droid programs, make sure you have at least using wpn overload 3 and have cap to shield shunt 2+.
3. Bomber Strike 2 - If this fails don't even bother attacking. Without someone to draw the fire off you, you don't stand a chance against those turrets.
4. Go for the weapons. The corvette's shields do not protect it's subsystems, they are in effect subsystems of their own. All you have to do is shoot the turrets and they pop off, shields or no. So hit those turrets as soon as possible.
5. Once the turrest are gone you can take care of it at your leisure.
6. Make sure you have some great blasters too, spend some time finding someone who makes a set of great lvl 7 blasters and mount 2 of them on your tie aggressor. Mine did 1700-2700 I believe. Above lvl 7 the mass usually becomes a problem so I'd say stick below lvl 7, but if you loot one that is low enough use it instead.

Excellent Advice. Unfortunately (which is my fault) Im a freelance Pilot, so I cant use that ship. Which is one of the biggest reasons I need help. My ship alone even with my droid commands isnt enough

Is there anyone out there that plays on Bloodfin that will volunteer to help or is everyone just that anti-social?

Pirate trap will do the trick but won't give you as much time as bomberstrike. Target the corvette from 2k out or something and hit pirate trap. Wait for the ships to go after the corvette then follow them in and take out those turrets. The lower turret should be your first target, it's the easiet to take out imo. Then you can approach from the sides just below the upper turrest arch of fire them pop up when close enough and take them out. The only trick to taking that thing down it getting those turrets before they get you. If things are going well just abort and try again later. You can also sit around the station in endor, claw I think it is, and wait for an imperial player to go through it going to kessel or deep space. Ask them for help, hopefully they won't mind. All u need is somone with bomberstrike to, or 3 if you can find an ace.

NM didn't read closely enough, you're looking for Imp or freelance masters.

I'm very curious as to why you chose the aggressor. The bomber has more mass and two pilot-controlled weapon hardpoints. Yes, the agressor has better chassis stats in terms of speed mods/acc/dec rates, but that is it. It has lower mass and only one pilot-controlled weapon hardpoint. The other hardpoint is for your gunner. Are you flying with a gunner? If not, how are you managing to get both weapons pilot controlled?

As to the original poster's problems, I wish I could help you, but I'm on Kauri.
