Thread: WHAT?! My trainer gives me option to join GROUND FORCES? WHAT'S THAT?

I selected it and he said "Woh, Id idn't see that coming." I stopped the convo and didn't push that further. What happens if you select it?

Nothing bad. If you are imperial (inquisition) you have to do this, to get into the retreat.

you become an imp or a rebel on the ground. you join the faction. you don't have to go further right now but as you progress you are literally forced to do it.

then it doesnt apply to you, i was imp when i selected this and nothing happened, he said come back and see me when u want a pilot mission

You're only forced to do that if you join 3 particular squadrons.
For the Imperial Inquisition on Naboo, the tier 3 and 4 trainers are inside the Emperor's retreat, so you'll have to do the themepark to get there.
For the Smuggler's alliance on Tatooine, you'll have to get into Jabba's throne room to reach your trainers.
There's a similar squadron for Rebels and the abandoned base on Dantooine, but I don't know which one.
The other 6 squadrons do not have this requirement.
