Thread: Well it's been a not so good launch day for me.

1. I get gated by some B wings shooting loads of missiles at my lvl 1 light tie issue ship.
2. Ship get's blown up. I respawn mad, so I figure break time and I land. Opps guess what? If you land with broken reactor you can't launch.
3. I now have no starter ship.
4. Deleted ship and talked to trainer. No replacement.
5. Spend EVERY single credit I had on half of a new ship.
Not very fun 1st day. I don't think I want a 40 hour a week full time job (which is what this money sink
is turning into). I just wanted to fly in space and shoot some stuff.
Did I mention I hate powergamers with millions of credits? How lopsided it is for casual players. You
can't even go to the bathroom in SWG without paying some kind of fee.

Talk to some players. I'm sure there are some people who would be more than willing to help you out with some credits, or even spotting you a new z-95. Just gotta ask politely and explain your situation.
I know those people are out there, because I'm one of them.

This ain't blue frog. On my server base lvl 1 components are 30k and base blueprints are 50k..
Gouging at the moment.
It's ok I will do some missions tomorrow now I just need shield and armor. Maybe I should be happy
because it's challenging me instead of gravy?
I don't know just being gated on launch day is not making me "happy".
And I love this game people know that...

Stop crying and play the game. You will get use to the controlling and ability to fly away from enemy ships. I've never been killed in beta. I've learned to escape and trap enemy ships. Learn man learn and you will successed in SWG JTL. As for money, don't ever get help from other people unless they are from your guild. That's what guilds are for. I'm supported 100% by my guild. But before that, I master bounty hunter on FOOT. I didnt have mounts or vehicles and the xp was very very low. I never complained because I love the game period even though I hate sony and wish one day they would out of business.

There is a difference. I think it's a legit gate issue. I backed it up with screenshot earlier.
It's not like I am new to TIE's. Been around since a few days after Phase 1 public beta started for JTL.

Are you unable to use a reactor repair kit on the z95 from the ground?

I kmow how you feel, it reminds me of when i started playing this game a couple months ago, i died about 7 times a day, had no money, and no clue, but i caught on, i hope tomarrow is a better day for you: )

There is someting wrong ifyou get ambusted by a squad of B Wings on a starter mission.... Didyou fly your starter ship into dangerous territory? I can understand a little bit of venting there. I played the beta for a few days (still waiting for my live disk to arrive in the mail), and had a starter ship get blown up. I deleted my starter but the recruiter gave me a new ship, are you saying that is changed in the live? Also the starter ship cannot be managed at the travel terminal, so you cannot repair the reactor once on the ground. Any repairs will have to be made at the space landing platform before you land.

At least your game doesn't crash constantly when your in space.

Man, I feel for ya, was the same in beta with the gating, not the expensive parts though. But to give a ray of sunshine it could be worse

My account is inaccessible, no swg, no jtl. Dunno why, I played it last night with no problems. Anyway, hope your next day is better.
