I'm wondering if any other Freelancers for Hutt had this same problem...
I go and talk with the Contact at hutt's place, then travel to Yavin 4, take out the ships guarding the transport, and very carefully shoot the transport till the engines turn off.
The mission calls for me to disable the transport, which I did. About 7 different times on 7 repeat missions.
After I disable the ship I Hyperspace back to Tat, where I get a message that I failed the mission.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a magical transporter button that I didn't know about to transport the goods from the ship to mine?
I seriously have spent the last 2 hours re doing this mission everytime, and I'm sure that the city next to Jabba's Palace apperciates the money I'm spending shuttling over to him, but I'd really like to continue the game
So I'm wondering if this was a problem for anyone else.
My roommate is having the same problem. So am I missing something, or is this just a bug?

Tier 3 missions and up are always more then one objective that you recieve after completing the first.
-Disable transport.
-Escort transport. (Rather long escort)
-Kill Valarian Replacements. (The guys who replaced you after you left to work for Jabba)
-Surive an ambush. (3 Tier 4 X-Wings, can be kinda tough)
Hope this helps some.

After I finish the first part, my quest info doesn't change, but... I'll try it once again after I wake up, since I'm tired now ![]()

that is helpful but does the planets change everytime you reget the mission or is it the same space locations each time.?

You have to disable the transport, then get close to it so your guys can take it over, then escort it to a safe place, then fight off waves of valarians sent to kill you, and then, when you get the message to "bring on home", you can go home to tatooine.

One question. Did you actually get a system message on screen saying that you disabled the ship? One problem I see a lot of people doing is not taking the initiative to check there keymap or the manual. Ignore that if you have just read on. In the keymap you will see some targeting options using the [ and ] keys. When you have a ship targeted and you push on of them, above there stats is adifferent coloredstat that will say either Reactor or Engine.
You can disable any craft this way. If you target say a tier 3 enemies engine like this at about half shield/armor there engine will blow off and you get a system message saying something like "enemy disabled" and he will be floating dead waiting to be shot to death. Remap the keys if it makes it easier, but make sure when disabling any craft you use those special target keys and see thedifferent coloredengine ordifferent coloredreactor stat above there normal 4 stats.

You have to sit tight for about a minute on this one, you'll get update from a boarding party inside the freighter, takes them awhile.
Then you have to battle back about 10 waves of attackers, escorting the ship.
Then you have to kill your Valarian replacements (teir 4 in a group of teir 3's). Last wave are in xwings, which gave me fits. I suggest taking a buddy to make it easier.
