I find the red targetting squares around targets are not significant enough, especially when the target is far away. I also think the blue arrow pointing the direction of the target should be made bigger and placed in a location where it is easier to see.
Not to mention that the Tie Fighters are allblack, so this makes them very difficult to see.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

It isn't a case of brightness, but rather it is scaled to small. When a craft is far away, the box is also scaled back and almost invisible. They need to remove scaling the boxes thickness and only scale the size.
I find the target arrow is fine, but I would much prefer to have the two radars like in the Xwing game to track my target.
And Tie Fighters are supposed to be black.

BZZZZT!!!! WRONG!!!!
Watch the movies. The Tie Fighter is a battleship Grey ball inside black solar panel wings that have battleship grey framings. As is the Interceptor and Vader's Tie Defender. ALL Ties are grey.
As to the previous poster the Interceptors only look darker because their panels are longer and shadow the ship hulls.

I wasn't talking about the TIE Interceptor, I was talking about the TIE/In.

Oh, well, yeah. That makes up 90% of the TIE.

I agree i was going to post on the same thing, i find myself getting about a half inch away from my screen and squinting really hard in order to see who i have targeted when they are coming at me. Why not do a variation of what they had in beta with the crosshair that leads in front of the target make it more transparent or lighter the farther away you are, green is much easier to see than red, either way i think they need to do something.

I think the whole targetting system needs some work. It's not bad, but it could be better. The "Current Target" thing in the top right corner needs to be more of a central part of the HUD rather than stuck up in the corner, so small and without much detail. And you're right, the arrow that points to your current target needs to be a little bigger and more well-defined. Also, it might be nice to have another unique color arrow that points to a mission critical ship that you are escorting, if you're on an escort mission.

ROFL, yeesh, do we need to be 100% precise. Dark Grey is not all that different then black. They are properly done in JTL, so I don't see why people are complaining. I have no problem seeing them.
