I did a forum search, but didn't find an answer to this question....
Will the Player City Shuttleports allow inter-planetary travel?
It seems odd that a city or metropolis would be nothing more than an over-grown Anchorhead.

For right now, plan on your city to be an overgrown Anchorhead, as the dev's said Player Cities will not have Starports. Maybe they will change this later, then again maybe not.

They will before before the space expansion......
It doesnt make sense to have a star ship and have it in a town that isnt yours !!!!
I mean...they would have to do it....
They are adding Garages when the vehicles come out right ???

A city with over 120 citizens should get a Starport... that would definitely cut down on the amount that have them, while still giving them to big cities.

I've been playing SWG for some time and I'm considering whether I should get JTL. I have just one question that I couldn't find on the message boards and FAQ after some searching.
It seems that you can travel between planets without using the standard starport shuttles. I'm curious if this JTL method of travel is any faster than the starport? If you have JTL, which is faster-- the starport or your own ship?

without a doubt, my own ship. You can just walk up to a starship terminal and travel directly (aka never enter space...so just like if you're using a shuttle, but without the wait or multiple jumps). However, right now you can use this instant travel from anywhere but only fly to Tat, Naboo, Cor, and Lok. The devs said that they will be fixing it so you can instanty travel to any starport from any starport using this method soon.
