1. Playing in a group is wonderful but it would be a lot nicer if I knew who was who without having them targeted or within 20m. I would love to see peoples names showing up about thier ship from very long distances, and an option to turn on names for NPC fighters as well, and a distance on name range like on ground would make this even better.
2. Maybee its already in the game and I havent found it yet. Is there someway to duel inspace without going into a combat zone? That would be handy as well even if its only use for testing out tactics on your friends without the fear of being destroyed by an enemy before you get a chance.
3. MISSION TERMINALS, we need these bad in starports or something. Using the trainer quests for leveling is a nice touch to help give a change to the endless grinding in other professions, but once you master, or even to get your capping exp it would be nice to be able to pull different types of missions for credits without having to go clear to your trainer. I know there are the endless spawn missions for leveling but I think a mission terminal would add a little something, and you could have missions based on the group numbers and go hunting as a guild.
4. Prices seem a bit high. As a veteran player with a chef/merchant alt I have plenty of funds to spend away on my ship but what about the people that just started when jtl was released because they wanted to play in space. They now are forced to spend lots of time in the ground game to make credits just to have something better than the noob ship. Maybee quests to get the higher ranked ships or something. I know as a new player it would take ten time longer to get the new ships to fly as it would to make the exp needed to be able to fly them. I remember saving for a few days worth of missions just to buy that new helmet I wanted when I started but ships are a whole different scale, I can say I have easily spent 3 million on parts and blueprints and im only on a xwing so far.
Just my two censt for what its worth, all in all I'm really enjoying the game and I think it was a great addition to my favorite game.

Sounds good. I like your ideas.
As for the duel thing, you should be able to do it by targeting someone and typing /duel. That was in BETA, atleast. Not sure if it was removed...
