I am an Imperial and my wife is going up Privateer (she wants to be able to paint the ships pretty ). Will she be able to use the 2nd turret in the 2-seater (I believe its the TIE Agressor) even though shes not certified? Same goes for me being able to use turrets in the YT - 1300?

Thanks

Only players of the same faction can fly in faction ships, so no she won't be able to fly with you and vice versa. At least that is what I understand. No practical experience with this. If someone knows differently then let us know.

She can only be a gunner in Imp ships if she is an Imp.

If she is Neutral then no she can't.

Being a gunner also has nothing to do with your pilot profession.

If she is an Imp on ground yes she can.

So as long as she's an Imperial in the 'ground game' she can be a gunner?

Thats great, thanks a ton

with the aggressor or the Y-wing i haven't tested but on bigger multiperson ship was possible, even if with player of different factions.

during beta i was able with my imp char to enter in a nova and to use the turrets, and same for a rebel friend that was also able to use /eshields in the copilot seat

now this was in beta, maybe the thing was changed in the last days or in live....

just try if it works better
