I wonder how they can imagine a player will have fun, keep playing this game and brings friends on with ideas like :
- 1% decay on insured items
- Decay on armors wich already decay with usage
- Awfull decay rate on weapons
- High failure rate repairing items
- Decayble unique reward items
- Group TEF
- Buff loosing after logging
- Inability to heal BF in camps
- Removing item naming colorisation
- Caveman Dungeon design
- Food filling not reseting after cloning
- Master pilot box needing to Pvp
- New dungeons only avaible for harcore gamers, not casual ones
- Impossibilty for Jedi to be helped by same faction members against a BH
- Jedi beeing able to have negative XP
- And I could add Holocron grinding, now FS grinding (wich is worse) and so on...
In front of each Designer screen the actual ad "make this game time killer" should be replaced by "make this game FUN, one you would love to play"
At this point, I would just like to say one thing- Quit your whining and either play the game or get out. Yes, there are problems. They get reported. The devs meet, they decide which problems are more critical than others, and what they have time budgeted to fix, and which ones have to wait for another cycle. Some of your items have merit, some don't. Some were messed with in beta and found made that way - such as the decay to elimiate the lack of corpse runs (geee...which is funner?). Master Pilot required to PVP...Are you out of your ever living skull? You want to *force* players who *don't* want to participate in the war to go out and participate in the war? Man, you probably hung with Hitler, and hunted with Stallin. Get real. You can't FORCE people to do what *you* want them to do. You take it for face value, either adapt or die - play our quit. The Majority spoke on some of these things and agreed to them, or have adapted to them in order for it to *not* hamper their experiance.
I have been playing since launch. Have I liked everything done? No. Have I found a way to have fun anyway - Yes. The game isn't all about who's the best power gamer, who gets the most uber loot. Its about having *fun*. And maybe, just maybe, along the way, you'll find some uber loot, or you'll find a dungeon that you like to raid with your friends (if you have any).
Bottom line - In the end its a game. Its your choice to quit pay for play, or your choice to offer constructive help. Some of these aren't bugs, some are. Some are critical, some aren't. When you understand what goes into Development, you learn to have patience cause you don't get everything you want, or think you deserve, the first time around.

Yeah well first of all this isn't really a topic that relates to JTL since the "bugs" you talked about are all ground-game issues. So good job Captain Irrelevant. Next, YEAH WE KNOW. Do you think no one else plays this game? We ALL know the limitation and flaws and we've all learned to live with them for now. Those of us who couldn't play through the problems have left for other games. Stop posting "Dev-slams" to point out problems we've hashed and rehashed on these boards a thousand times.
I wonder how they can imagine a player will have fun, keep playing this game and brings friends on with ideas like...
So quit. If you honestly aren't having fun go play some other game. Hmmm. I think you actually DO enjoy SWG but you just have a few problems with some of the smaller elements of the game's mechanics. Please don't blow the problems out of proportion, too many do that on these boards every day and I'm just getting a little tired of it. Sorry for the rant, but please understand this has all been said before. Other posts have made the point very clear and have done so in a way that isn't as accusative or couter-productive.
So just deal and enjoy! well all is said, that's what bother me the most I think, having to deal with unfunny or time killer features

Now, I do agree with most of the points brought up, but its all easy dealt with to make the game fun. Ya most of my friends already left for EQ2 and while yes I am planing on trying it, im still keeping galaxies. I've gone played and quit about 3 other MMORPG and Galaxies I've been playing since launch. The best part is the openess of the game, you pretty much can do anythign you want with it, its only a matter of do u have the paitence to do it. i wanted be an armorsmith at one point, couldnt stand it. Became a TKA and now a Smuggler, and Im loving it! No, smuggler isnt the best money making profesion by far, but, mixed with TKA you can make a good amount, mainly but doing hunts for Doctors and Chefs, or by doing the occasional slice. Thats why i like it, the other professions need one another, you cant just be one uber character, you need the other people in the game to be succesful. In my opinion thats what makes a good MMORPG and if thats not what you like then quit, goto a game where the main point is to become strong, and just kill things, some of us like games where you need to think, and plan, make friendships and barter with people, a TRUE Role playing game is what this has become.
I will say though there is still room for improvement, and there always will be. As gamers we will always find a flaw, and the devs may or may not try to fix it, but even if they do we will have another problem, so just deal and enjoy!

If its "unfunny or time killer" for you, then it must be that way for *everyone*, isn't it. Of course, if it offends one person, it must offend all people, isn't that right. Would you like some cheese with your whine? Shut up and play the game or put your money where your mouth is. In either case, get off this list of "topics" and move on with life. You're using up valuable time that could be used for something more construtive like a root canal...
It seems I like using your valuable time reading my worthless posts .
