Any chance that the zone in spots for Rebels and Imperials could be moved OFF the ISD and the Station? After a wave of PvP attacks, it would be nice to be able to trounce the ISD without having lingering guilt over possible loadcamping situations when the Imperials zone in right on top of us.

Usually the ISD will go down before the respawn if you're good enough

But this is a good idea.

I would be in favor of a Battlefield 2 sort of spawn point system

i dunno how it works in battlefield but i read someone once who had the idea that all ships should spawn *IN* the hangers (shield protected) of their respective bases. gives people time to chill, time to group up and maybe even go over tactics for how to deal with the salivating opposing faction outside.

anyway i thought that was a great idea. i spend most of my time in DS around the rebel base and if it ever gets fixed i'll spend all my time around it. it kind of gets old to have to listen for the beep/watch radar and boost away a few KM every time someone comes into the zone for fear of being accused of camping them.

Very interesting idea.

An addition to this, allow people to re-enter the hangar for repairs within restrictions. You have to be within 500m of your respective bases hangar, comm the station and request entry. Provided there isn't an enemy ship within say 2000m, you can then fly back into the shield protected hangar to chill or get repairs, if there is an enemy ship the base denies your request asa security precaution.

And give access to the ship management menu for ordinance reloads! Might encourage those oppressor pilots on Eclipse (there are a whole heap of them, for some reason) to start thinking about using those three launcher slots.
