How did you manage to do the mission a second time? I've got the Vaksai, would love to get a RGT.

Imp = Red Guard TIE
Neut = Vaksai (Black Sun) Fighter
Reb = Heavy X-Wing

Bear in mind, apparently you can only ever get TWO of these, as I've gotten the RGT and the Vaksai and now no longer have an option for any missions but the duty options.

Did the RGT mission, completed it, went up and was immediately given the 'Give me a CHALLENGE!' dialog from the station. I took that option, escorted the 'vette, got my Vaksai.


Oh, you need to go Imperial (RGT), or drop your ground faction depending on which mission you want.

When you complete the Civilian Protection Guild string of missions, and Eyma talks to you about heading to space and seeing whoever, he's actually setting flags on your character to "unlock"content. The t5 duties and the Advanced ship missions in particular. No one knows if its a bug or intended, but currently if you do this as Freelance, he sets 2 Advance ship flags instead of just one. A freelance will get access to theVaksai, and access to whicheverGCW faction he's a member of. Basically a Freelance can get his ship, get the factioned ship too, then save it for later or sell it and make out like a bandit. Allied Pilots get only one flag set (or the same flag twice probably).

From the other thread where we talked about this, I know Jeebus had the 2 ships, and switched ground faction to get the 3rd. That doesnt seem to work though, that's why my theory is the flags get set when you finish the string of CPG missions.

Funny side note:my Freelance alt did the RG TIE mission last night, and managed to hit the 'vette during the escort. If there hadn't been 3other targets to draw fire, I probably would have been hosed in the shocked pause while I was getting hit and taking damage.Ihad to IFF to get my vette to stop shooting me. This is one of the many little bugs in RotW missions that shows me how rushed this stuff was. Lots of access and allegiance markers didn't get set righton different missions.Its like the bugs in the Trando Slaver Collar mission, among others.Just kinda shoddy.

I actually didn't sell my RGT, I gave it to my Imp Ace alt who helped uncover the 'weak' bug early on. Flies like a dream.

Anyone can get the Vaksai. A person can only get *either* the Crimson TIE *or* the Heavy X. The TIE and X are different endings to the same Quest line - a line that can not be stared over once completed. So far. Pub 19 is coming out tomor.. later today. Who knows.
