Thread: How did you equip your Belbullab?

I use my Belbullab for mining - it has a pair of MkIII Mining Lasers and a MkII Proton Launcher as its armament. It may sound funny, but the mining lasers do as much damage as a heavy blaster!
I also have a MkIII reactor (14725 energy), a MkIV engine experimented for high PYR, 1900-point MkIV shields, 1100-point MkIII armor, an RE capacitor that suitably meets my needs for its low mass, a MkIII booster with a 10-second burn that recharges fully in less than 30 seconds, 18.0-speed MkIII droid interface, large cargo hold, and a micro-chaff launcher.
Nothing to sneeze at, considering that I can usually continue mining and ignore asteroid bandits until I pick up the current chunks. I'd daresay I could take this on a Tier 3 mission and succeed with it despite the fact that it's loaded for mining - so there's no reason one that's fitted for combat should have any shortcomings.
Crafted components can actually be quite good, provided you have a competent shipwright that uses quality materials. Surely, you can get reverse-engineered parts that are better, but believe me, ones that are better than I can craft are rare and expensive (and I've reverse-engineered thousands of parts to show for it).

With this setup I can nail Tier 5's in 10-15secs, and around 25secs for A-Wings
