Thread: if you are a privateer flying a tank...
Already its kinda funny how easy it is to kill any PvE enemy (gunboats are still rough if they dont fly a set path but they are a ton easier than in a kimogila for example)
Once I get fully outfitted and get a equipment setup I like I imagine it will get even better.
I dont have master yet as I just finally finished my "kill 30 imperial ships" mission but once I do I will definitely try other ships like the Krayt to see if I like them.
I called my Rhik the "Brick". thats the way she steerd. I absolutely love my Krayt, its quite agile.
Inixyen (sp?) was fine, as is Actis, Belbulab. I was slightly disgusted of the Firespray. It movesok. for
a 200t shipbut one of its 2 guns is on its "Nose", so the fire patternis far apart, i would say, not really
worth millions they want for it. I gues its just cause of its canonical Valie as Boba Fet's ship.
The Krayt has, with its guns around the Cockpit a much nicer hit pattern, and yes i get A-Wings and Ties
from it.
I normally fly my Rihk in battle, my Belbullab is kitted out for mining.
Mind you, with an engine designed for manueverability, aMkIV shield and a pair of MkIII mining lasers, it's still a pretty formidable combat craft - I can safely ingore asteroid bandits until I pick up all the current chunks, then dispatch them with the special irony that comes from killing a bandit with a mining laser. ![]()
Right now, I'm using my Krayt for mining (I want to get it rigged out to see how well it works for gunboats), and my Grivious for pretty much everthing else. (The Y-8 and YT-1300 are mostly just fun to play with... just not in combat...., I take the ARC out on occasion when helping either new pilots or friends that are re-mastering, and the lizzy is mothballed at the moment)
