First off Im new to JtL, couldn't find a decent user guide, so please dont flame if this is a dumb question ...

As a rebel pilot, it took me about 20minutes to get my X-95 destroyed in my exuberant desire to destroy all of the Empire. I had to Eject, and now have a broken ship I cant fly. Apparently ship repairs take place in space, by conversing with a space station. But I cant get into space because my ship is too broken.
I couldnt find another ship for sale on vendors, although presumably I will soon now.

If I surrendered Novice Pilot, then picked it up again would I get a new starter ship ?

Is there any way to get a ship repaired without being in space ?

Kill the ship in your Data PAd, Go to the Recruiter and ask for a new one. Its that simple.

If you land with your non-starter ship broken, Shipwrights make repair kits to get you boat back up into the big black

Also when you get blown up you should find yourself floating right beside a space station. At least that is what happens to me each time I die, which happened quite a bit over the past couple days. When you go to speak with the station using /comm it gives you the option of repairing your ship. Then you canchoose how much of it you need repaired: Little bit, Half, Full, etc....

I would highly recommend repairing your ship this way as it saves you from having to track down a shipwright to make yourepair kits for each part. Although if you are on the ground and you need to repair your ship before you can lift off the only way to do it is to get repair parts for each component you need repaired. Although you can delete your ship and get a newstarter ship if you want. Of course I like myslightlystronger scyk fighterw/proton launcher over the starter ship any day.

Incorrect...You can not repair, upgrade, or hyperspace with your newbie trainer. The repair kits only work on purchased ships. Destroy the control device in your datapad, and visit the trainer again.

Thanks for the advice, and the one star !

I will delete it, and then no doubt go and break another.
