The activity I enjoyed most in the game "Freelancer" was blowing stuff up and collecting rare loot. I've seen plenty of cargo ships around in JTL - although they seem a bit tough for my starter ship, I'm eager to raid them all and hijack their cargo. Before I get too far down the freelancer track though, I have a few questions:

- Is raiding transports a viable way to collect loot?
- If so, which faction is best suited to that task?
- Can I switch factions at any time?
- Do space activities (especially bad activities) effect your ground faction standing?
