I got the sorosub and generated it from my inventory. It appeared in my datapad but also remained in my inventory, which I wasn't expecting. So i tried to generate it again and now I have 2 sorosubs in my datapad, and it is still in my inventory.

Anyone else have this? Is it normal?

I noticed that a deed was in my inventory afterwards as well, and was contemplating deleting it but didn't want to chance loosing my ship.

IMO: it is there, so you can redeed it any time, and destroy that one in datapad.

It was described in beta.

I have been playing my account for at least 6 months, but it won't let me collect my prize. It says you are elegible, but it won't let me claim it...

I started my account when the game first began and I was never sure if I had ever had 6 straight months because I had a habit of cancelling and resubscribing as money issues came up, but it was available to me. When I did /claimveteranreward it showed 2 seperate options: 90 days/ 180 days. I claimed the 180 days one and got my ship, but now it still says I have a 90 day reward and it always comes up as the same ship, but it won't let me have it because I already claimed it. A little annoying since it pops up every time I log in now.

Does it give you an error message when you try to claim it?

Are you clicking on the 180 day reward?

I successfully claimed the 180 day reward and have my yacht, but now it keeps saying I have a 90 day reward, which comes up as another yacht when I choose it. The error pops up when I click claim on the final screen. No big deal though, I just have to click cancel on the pop up each time I log on. I think I can spare an extra second to do that each time.

Yes. The Sorosub is, in a way indestructable. Not in the sence you cant get it destroyed in space but in the fact that you can always have a new ship. First off, the deed staying in your inventory is not an accident, its intentional. The Sorosub can attacked by NPC ships in space and destroyed like any other ship. A draw back to the Sorsub is that it cannot be customized with parts such as new engines, reactors, etc. becuse its all included in theship when you first generate it. The Sorosub was never designed, by the devs, to have batttle capabilities so basically if your getting attacked in space you best hit the hyperjump button or use those Boosters cause your a sitting duck. Because the Sorsub cannot be customized, if a vet were to have thier ship destroyed beyond repair it would suck. Thats were the deed comes in. If you have a bike or a ship deed, you select "Generate Ship" and the deed deletes from your inventory and appears in your data pad for use. With the Sorosub, when you select "Generate Ship" the ship goes into your data pad, but the original deed stays in your inventory. Its there to basically give you a replacement Sorosub each time yours either gets destroyed in spaceor youdeleteit from your datapad to fit in a new ship.

Unlike regular ships, the Sorosub cannot be redeeded, you have to manually destroy it from your data pad. Reason why it cannot bereverted back to deed form is because well, the deed is still in your inventory when you first generated. Basically put: the devs gave us a way to always have a new Sorosub in case sometimes happens to our current ship, either if its destroyed in combat or deleted by the player. They will always have the original deed to regenerate as much Sorosubs as they please (which players will limit themselves since each cost about 1 of your lots). The deed can be placed in your bank for safe storage or kept in your inventory and not dropped in a house, traded, sold, or placed in a bag. Since the ship itself follows these rules, a player cannot exploit this infinate supply of ships by regenerating ships and selling them off (I dont know why since eventually we'll all get one). So if you still see your Sorosub deed in your inventory, no your not one lucky SOB with a cool bug in your favor, its intentional. The ships work like the Naboo Flash Speeder. Since the Flash Speeder cannot be crafted by an artisan, a pre-order player can type in a command that creates a new deed for it in thier inventory if their bike gets destroyed or blows up due to maintenence. It comes at a cost of $20K credits each time but you get an infinate supply of flash speeders as long as you can afford to pay for it when you need a new one. Hope this answers all your questions.
