Just this minute phoned GAME store and they have the game in store but beside there release dates they have it marked as Date Change 5th of nov and they wont be putting it on the shevles until then. So if ur hoping that GAME will sell them 29th i suggest dont get ur hopes up and just wait 8 days until next friday like i am.

The official release date has been changed to the 5th in the UK, no stores will be allowed to sell it before then. There are a couple options tho:
1. outpost.com offer 2-3 day international deliveries for just under $40
2. specialreserve.co.uk still list the game as being released on the the 29th
I placed an order with both and my outpost order has been shipped (should hopefully arrive friday/saturday) the special reserve order is currently waiting to be despatched apparently although I will most likely ring up and cancel this as the other is on the way.

I guess it's an attempt to stop kids losing concentration during a school week ... I can't think of any other reason for it. Any one know the actual reason?

I mentioned this is another post. Special Reserve have also had to put there release date back to 5th Novemeber. There website hasnt been updated yet. if u dont believe me, id give em a call.
On another note, i ordered 1 copy from Amazon.de, i got the shipment confirmation mail last night. So here's hoping i get it either Friday or Monday.

**my lawyer has informed to tell me i didnt not suggest in any way that gane staff are theiving crooks of their own games**

friend of mine has been into a local game store and the date for JtL has been revised.
they had a date of the 5th november in the book but it had been changed today (thursday) to... wait for it
the 29th October
now im not sure how reliable this is but it gives some hope.
however the only down side was they didnt actually have an in stock at that point

I just rang GAME (bournemouth branch) and they said they have the release date down as 29th October 2004, but they don't have any copies in the shop yet.
