with respect to-

shield regeneration rate

capacitor recharge rate

whats better a higher or lower number?

e.g would a shield with a regeneration rate of 39, regenerate faster than a shield with a rate of 20? higher = faster?

the only reason i ask this is because with melee weapons, for speed, the smaller the number the faster it is.

there are so many stats linked to so many opinions, i would like to know whats the deal with rates and speeds.

Think of it like this: All shields regen at the same rate. The number tells you how much they regen at that rate. So, regenning 39 at a time over 20 at a time is better. Hence 39 < 20. Use the 39, it's better.

Same goes with capacitors.

Only thing you want as a smaller number speed-wise on your ship is the Droid Interface.
