do i realy need to start my pilot missions again? i mean, do i have to start from tier 1? seems a little silly because i would have all the same skills again just another subfaction.

Yes you have to start all over again but if you mastered Smuggler Alliance you'll earn double the xp per kill.

Think of them as Authorizations and not skills, and you're getting on track to why you need to start over. In a plot driven advancement system, it makes perfect sense that you would start from the bottom and earn the organization's trust. That being said, it's really easy to switchsections in Neutral. just load a dunelizard the best you know how, then drop your current branch. Join the new branch, do 4 missions in a Prototype, take your first box in Ships, and then use your super Duney for the rest of the way. dont remove any equipment until you get your cert levels back, because once it's out, you can't get it back in. It's unfortunate that the system allows for this, but it is one way to take advantage of your old job when you start your new one.

Well this might just be me being picky but I fly for the Smugglers Alliance not the Hutts

No, I'm a master so the last group I was flying for wasn't Jabba

Intresting... I thought I read somewhere that all Smuggler's Alliance pilots went through Jabba (execpt Tier 2 for Lady Valarian). BTW I am Smuggler's Alliance working on Tier 3!!!!
