i was just thinking, you know how ships like the yt1300 has more mass then needed? i thought it would be cool if we could stack armor plating for increased defence. or something like that

Two shield slots (primary and secondary shields)and two capacitor slots (one attached to each gun). The extra shields would really help the fact that right now a fully crewed POB ship is a less effective fighting force than a single manned fighter.

Introducing MP ships only components will be nice. I have a un-RE'ed L7 reactor that has 36+K energy generation with only 20K mass, but I wouldn'[t mind seeing reactors with that kinda energy with 500K mass which can only be used in a MP ship.
