this just occurred to me. i hope someone can prove me wrong. how is refire rate a useful stat when with weapon groups u can set it up so the same weapon doesnt fire 2 shots in a row. i mean unless the same weapon fires two shots in a row what is the usefullness of refire rate?? maybe im just missing something.

Because if you have a .30x, .35x, and a .40x weapon, they'll fire simultaneously at first, but if you keep your finger on the trigger, they'll gradually space out to their appropriate firing times (provided your capacitor doesn't drain first). The longer you can make the "pauses" between firing, the longer you'll be able to keep up the stream.

It almost appears that grouping L5 with L6 weapons (along with L7s with L8s) make for nice pairs since even numbered weapons tend to RE down to the low .3xxs, while even-numbered weapons flirt more with the high .3xxs to low .4xx.
