Thread: how do I get this prototype ship

it said that the new ship is upgradable and has hyperspace. Do I have to destroy the one I have now, talk to the trainer, and then he will give me the new ship? Because Im closeto having go to Lok. Also, is it possible to take out what it has? Because I just got a Y-wing, and it needs weapons, shields, and a hyperspace thing.

Destroy your current starter ship and go to the trainer for the new "prototype" starter ship.
I have only used one on TC but the components can be removed although they cannot be sold to the Chassis Vendor.
My Test Center Dunelizard is still using armor and a weapon from the proto ship.

The trainer will notissue you a starship if you have any other player made ships in your datapad. You must re-deed all ships other than the yacht, and haven't yetreached 1111.
