After being an avid X-Wing & nova courier fan, i decided to try out a B-Wing last night, so off i went crafting the parts i needed, and re'ing the parts i felt could be better. Once sorted, and i think it was a fairly powerful beast in terms of weaponry and missiles etc(need a better engine soon tho) off i went..
I went to kessel and deep space WOOT they may not be easy to control, but with a decent fighter escort to help get rid of the odd aggressor or such like sitting on my tail, other than the fact my shields are good enough to just soak up damage, it turned out to be tremendous fun. So much so i think the X-wing has now been knocked back in to 3rd place in the pecking order of the ships i will most likely be flying. When my crew is around, this week ill mostly be flying the Nova courier, but when they are busy i'll be up in my new B-Wing. More tweaking to do, but with my taim & bak, incom loot guns etc and such like in it and the odd decent experimental gun etc, these things are deadly once they get a good line of sight onto something. its harder obviously when your in deepspace, fighting against real ppl, but the added security of my guild mates in the X-wings will offer much needed cover on me arse.
I've visualised arebel fleet/squadron consisting of a few b-wings and handful of nice fast and deadly X-wings, and a couple of nova couriers for heavy support. I feel that with the proper kind of communication in flight it could be the start of some nice pvp in the deepspace area. The removal of decay is obviously gonna help kick start thepvp, and am looking forward to some nice spacebattles.
anyway back on topic, be nice to see more B-wings out there.
anyway, soz for the rambling post. Thought i'd post some thoughts
i may be back to editlol
neph out.

With a good Engine and Engine overcharge you become almost as agile as a fighter craft, or so i´ve been told
Seen quite a few of themlately.
but the real advantage of this craft is it´s kick-ass weapon loadout!

How do I get Engine Overcharge? It's a privateer flight program right?

And to answer your question, try to convince an Imperial pilot that knows the command to burn it onto a chip for you. Then you can use it in your droid/flight computer.

I know one imperial pilot who would do this for me. What percentage speed increase does it give you?
