Any rebs test out the functionality of the new e-shield droid programs? I burnt a couple modules w/ L3 and saw the program size of 35 and said forget that!
I'm assuming that these were put in the game for the other factions to use. I'm a little disappointed they're giving a reb special ability to the other factions. eShields is probably the only reb skill that's worth having.
At any rate, I'd like to know if activating one of these eshield programs shuts down all weapons, or maybe just some of the weapons since you're only doing eshield front or back.

I installed it, haven't used it yet. According to the description, if you use emergency front (for example), it'll dump all rear shield energy and capacitor energy into the front shields. So it doesn't actually shut down your weapons, it just drains the capacitor.

I haven't used that, but I have used the Privateer's Capacitor to Shield Shunt at level 3, and added to Capacitor Overcharge 3... well, I LOVE it. It's saved my armor a bit already, and saved me more than a few credits that would have been spent on repairs otherwise. 
I'd recommend getting it.. not sure if it's as good as the E-Shields, since it pulls from the Cap to put into both shields, but it does a pretty darn good job of recharging them, and with the Cap that I have, I don't even lose full charge from my weapons.
