i need to get in practice with flight sims and dog fight games. my new joystick came and in the demo for nabo starfigter it seems way too sensetive. what game would be good to practice with? also in jtl can you adujust the sensativaty?

I haven't found a game that quite duplicates the JtL experience. I suppose Wing Commander and the old X-Wing and TIE Fighter Games are similar, but not dead on. The keyboard layouts are different for each. However, after you get use to the layout of the controls for JtL you'll catch on real quick.

Just wanted to say this. For me the joystick was harder to use, either because 1) I'm not used to joysticks. 2) Its a bad joystick. or 3) Joysticks don't work well with this game. I'm thinking its more along the lines of 1 or 3.

I thought it was easier. Well the only other way I found out how to play was with the "virtual joystick", and I had trouble keeping making precise maneuvers with that. So I think I'll probably be sticking with the joystick, as little desk space as I have left for it

(Edit - Um at 400 posts do you get the Forum title of "Pilot", because this one just broke me 400. w00t, I'm a "pilot"!!!)

Yer very like X-Wing/Tie Fighter/Wing Commander games, I used to play them on joystick but its been so long since I used mine and turns out its broke. I found mouse is a bit of a b1tch in the beta cause far too sensitive, someone mentioned sidewinder pad, got 1 somewhere will try it when the game finally gets here.
