I'm now placing an order with outpost.com:

Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed Expansion $19.99
Airborne Express International $19.98
total $39.97

Thats under £25 I think and with any luck shouldnt take too long or will at least be quicker than waiting till the 5th.

I'm just waiting till the hype dies down - I am really not bothered about JTL at all. The 5th is fine with me.

Did you choose standard Air Mail or FedEx?

WHAHAHA...are you joking right!! Maybe you people in the UK are lucky!!

As I live in Holland and we are part of the EURO-Pact of the EU ...I have to pay between $25 and $30 Shipping costs!!

So 90% of the Europe Players are just screwed and have to wait another week or 2 (If ActiVision gets enough Shipment on Nov 5th....yes ActiVision is the Europe Distributor!! Not only UK...that's why they don't have enough stock!!!) ...or you won't mind to pay shipping costs that are higher than the price of the game itself!!

Confirmed! I just phoned HMV Edinburgh and they let me reserve a copy for free: £24.99 release date 29th October

I told the bloke about the confusion with release dates and he said that may still happen with them, but that their stock computer should have updated yesterday if it had been pushed back, because yesterday is when all the new releases are delivered to their central warehouse.

I believe Import tax and vat only applies to goods purchased that are over £18.00 so most people importing into the UK from US or Canada should be fine.

dvdboxoffice.com have JTL at $39.95 plus DHL courier (approx 2 day delivery) for $14.95. Those figures are Canadian dollars so it comes to around £25 according to my calculations - AND if you are lucky you will have it before the weekend. I say stuff Activision - lets all IMPORT.
