Why isn't JTL available as a download option (even as a torrent, which would be much better) ? surely that would have been a much better idea for distribution.

Well for one, I love having backup discs. But if they could ship us the discs and then give us the option to download that would be cool.

You could always burn your download to a CD for backup. I do agree though and only think it should be there as an option however, not instead of but it would be nice to have had the option especially with the UK release date bouncing all over the shop .

Why can't SOE do a download option for JTL, would be great for European countries that might not be getting it till Nov 5th, SOE still get there money.

I am guessing there would be legal issues.


The distributors would not be happy if they found out a download version was avaliuable as this would mean zero sales.


its a great idea and id love a download version but this late in the day its not a possibility.

screw the distributors they already did that to the europeans (i know it would probably have legal problems but i'm angry).

I dont see why they couldnt do it if you have played counter strike you know that with "steam" you can just give ur credit card info and what not then just download it right from valve the makers of half life 2 that way everyone will get it on the same day. Although you would be downloading heck of a lot.
