I'm not someone who moans about anything really.
I can wait hours for a server to go up and not be bothered at all.
What gets my annoyed are 3 things.
SOE, Lucasarts and Activision.
Now I don't know which one is responsible for messing up the JTL release for the EU , and I doubt we'll ever be told. In fact it does'nt really matter who really.
The Point is that, I as one of the original Beta 3 testers for Galaxies have accepted the massive delay to the first EU release because the servers were'nt in place. Theres no need for the second delay at all , period.
What it means is massive advantages to US players once more.
Shipwright will find it diffcult to compete as will combat players. Why ?
Because their shipwrights will have mostly mastered it before ours and will be able to churn out ships of higher quality that people are more likely to buy than a lesser quality shipwrights produce (ie the EU people who are a week, possible more behind)
Combat could potentially be stuffed as well, mainly PvP because the US players will be in better ships, with more XP, so instead of hugely fun equal footing battles we'll have battles which have to be avoided so no PvP.
Now this aint gonna be permernant obviously, its going to level out in a few months, but its stupid and a poor business decision.
When you've got people Paying for something per month you have to keep things equal and balanced. You don't screw people over just because their European (Not that I'm accusing anyone of racism thats silly and I seriously doubt thats the case) I am attempting like many others to order from the US via Import but the odds of having it by friday are slim and the chances are US customs will screw us all over again anyway.
Frankly I'm too dissapointed to be angry now , but with no decent explanation as to why this delay happened (with the minimal of corporate, bovine faeces) Im gonna cancel my accounts and not only that, but I will refuse point blank to purchase any more Lucasarts products and encourage others to do the same. (And given that I own almost every one ever made thats something I do not wish to do lightly)
Anyone else agree enough is enough ?

I agree with you that we got screwed again and again!!
I play on the Eclipse server and have seen the First and largest Guild on Eclipse ever fallen apart last week as most of the Veteran players where tired of the screw ups ( like THE BIG FPS LAG PROBLEM ATM) and canceled their accounts! This Guild was also part of the Largest and first Metropole named Europe on Naboo! This city and symbol to SWG on Eclipse server is now about to die and being destroyed!!
YesterdayI saw the Europe City Major begging for new players and guilds to join their city to keep the SYMBOL of the Eclipse Server alive!!
An all this because they were TOO BUSY with JTL...pushing BUGGED code to the Live Servers to get it Finished and released in time!!
And now they cannot even manage to get JTL to NON-US Players in time!! JUST A BIG JOKE!!

The mess up with the shipping of JTLS has NOTHING to do with SOE. its all doen to activision the european distributers of Lucasarts games.
they apparently said that they recieved too many pre-orders and did not bring in enough stock which is why its delayed. that does'nt sound like a well thought out excuse to me.
looking at release schedules for the coming weeks it seems that there is a slight pattern...
this friday its a big console release with next to nothing being released on the PC. where as next week there are quite a few PC games out and not much for consoles. maybe its something to do with marketing.like the old saying about not putting all your eggs into one basket.
