Thread: Problems loading to space with buddies

I had this same problem in beta and I'm still having it. I bugged it in beta, but I'm not so sure it's a bug. It seems like this happens whenever I have a few skills and I'm trying to group with someone who is only a novice. Perhaps the Dev's don't want novice's to group with someone who has more skills. As a test in beta, I created another character and then tried to go into space and group with my friend who was also just a novice. We were then able to group and fly missions together.

So here is what happens...
A buddy of mine and I get JTL. We both sign up for rebel pilots, both sign up for the Moenia Squadron (Vortex or something like that).
We both fly the first mission and complete it. Then we both met on moenia and got in our ships to meet up in space.
Once loaded to space, we both fly to the same Space station. He is there, I am there. We cannot see each other at all...
We tried grouping on moenia, both having missions, both not having missions, we simply could never see each other in space. Kinda sucks!
Anyone have similar issues or reccomendations on how to solve the problem?

A buddy and I had the same problem. Met up at the Theed spaceport and could not see each other. Did a /findfriend, set waypoints and met up in several areas around the station and in space. We were 4 meters apart and pointed right at each other and could not see each other. He said he's experinced the same on the ground buffing people and meeting them for buffs. Kinda sux to finally get into space and can't meet up with your buds to go kick.
Dev's are you all aware of this? (By the way, the luxury yachts are way cool...thanks devs. Just wish I had one! :smileywink

I have the same situation with some of my guild member. While on other situation, I can see them fine. So I don't know what's causing this problem. But it sure is very lame.
