You are always "covert" in space until you go up to a faction space station and ask to declare yourself overt. The onlyother way to beattackable by players is to /duel or go to one of the two PVP space zones, deep space and kessel.There are no TEFs in space either.

thanks, so I can fly right by a covert/overt X-wing and still be good as long as I'm covert? Thats weird I suppose but atleast I won't get blasted out of space upon entry

Hello, just got JtL and reactivated my account and I absolutely can't wait to play it. I think I'm going to try imperial pilot first however I have some questions, I still don't understand overt in space....

keep the answer simple please, too early to think
