Just wondering if anyone from Beta has a guide book to doing the missions, what boxes you should take first, what trainers to take missions from, etc.
Also, when should I look to upgrade my starter ship?

On day one I bought a Z-95 chassis and outfitted it with a hyperdrive and as many Mark II or looted components as possible.
I deleted my starter ship pretty quickly after that.

Get boxes in this order:
1) Equipment
2) Ship
3) Survival skills/whatever
4) Droid
NOTE: In JTL you can't just race up 1 tree, you have to unlock each level by completing your missions for your trainer first.

I thought it interesting that the droid would train me, even when I hadn't gotten the proper xp yet. Does this happen often? Also, when are you able to start taking missions on other planets?

Once you fill all your boxes in Tier 1 your trainer will tell you who to talk to next. And so on.
Sometimes it's the same planet, sometimes they move you to another. If you start on Corellia the Tier 2 trainer is on Lok.

I ran the tier 1 missions on Tat as a Reb. The trainer sent me to Yavin for tier 2, but the trainer says he's not accepting recruites from other squadrons. HELP!

Did you talk to the right guy on Yavin?
Did you buy a player made ship? You can't use the noob mobile for the 2nd tier.

I've noticed that there are 2 guys on Yavin, just look at your overhead map for the pink icons. Anyone know where I go from Moenia?
