Thread: Mission Problem, Several of us are stuck on Yavin!

The first mission for Denner on Yavin as Imperial under the storm squadron...
The missions is simply too hard to do, Its an escort and 6 or 7 teir 3's come out at once... They around bad, but the problem is, theres TOO MANY, by the time I destroy them, the escort is 2,000 away and the next wave warps in before im anywhere near done with the first! The Escort says its too hot and hypers away and you fail... Theres 3 or 4 of us here stuck on this mission...

If I had a group of 4 or even 3 people I could do it...
But where are u going to find 3 people who are going to spend 20 minutes on a mission, 3 times over to help each person through it? No where...

I find my groups by typing this special command:
/gu Hey, i need help w/ a space mission - get your ass to yavin!
If you dont have access to that special super secret command, you need a new guild, because yours sucks.

Far as the group thing, that's what guilds are for 
But about your problem, I played the Imperial side in beta, but I did that line first and I heard the changed the difficulty and all a lot since I was Imperial so don't know how tough or different it is. But usually when the ships come in waves, you don't technically have to destroy all the ships in each wave unless it specifically says that's a mission objective. Basically, you'd just need to keep up with ship and keep it alive as well as staying a live long enough to complete the mission. But usually it's not a requirement to destroy all the ships unless it specifically says in your journal that that's a mission goal.

I have plenty of guild members to help but they just got the game now, so they are way behind...
I was going to try that, or just disabling and turning onto the next... it wold hlept o have at elast one persons help

What I do on Escort missions is focus more on disabling the ships its much faster, you can clean them up later..........

Like err. DOH! Get your asses grouped already. It's not like you don't have to, at one point or another, do duty mission or random spawn killing for XP. Might as well do it in a group with this mission.
In JTL you will need to group sometimes. This is good. In the past this was also needed in the ground game...
Solo groups, or pure solo play, is not for most people when in space.

In beta I solo'd the rebel tree up to 4/4/3/3 before I needed help, ofcourse I was using good gear and all since I was a SW and resources were free, not like I was in a starter ship

HeyHolo: Just because you solo'd in beta doesn't mean it's possible now, or rather, as easy. AI was for the most of the beta testing very very lacking. Days before the end of the beta, it got a lot better and it started taking longer to take ships down (they fly better basically). It's probably still possible to get to at least 4444 solo but it won't be easy and few will be able to.

The mission has changed since beta its much harder now....
and tell the other people here that they need to group and help, they wont do it, too greedy...

I realize that,I said as much in the previous reply I made and also I said I know that in live people aren't gonna already have access to proper level gear and the like either since there probably aren't a lot of master SW's yet.
I was just submitting that it isfeasible to solo the missions as you were making it sound like it's basically not possible.

=THIS MISSION IS IMPOSSIBLE!
Its a three part mission!!! I got mission succes of the first 2 parts which took me 40 minutes! then the transport flew through a group of teir 4 droid ships and I got mauled.... and I have to START ALLL OVER!!!!! YOUHAVE TO BE JOKING SOE!?!?!?!
