Thread: What's the deal with Yavin Rebel Tier 3 Mission 3?

The number of waves here is insane. I've killed so many Tie Fighters and Tie Interceptors that I've lost count. Every 2 minutes or so a new wave is attacking me before I can even finish the one prior to it... Emergency shields pulled me through a lot longer than I would have lasted otherwise, but really... 10+ waves is maybe a smidge over the top.

*sigh*.. emergency sheilds, how I wish I had them.. emergency weapons, pfft, why the hell would that come In handy... everyone usually has good enough capacitors.

Are you sure it's not a duty mission you're on? Duty missions keep going and going until you abort the mission. At that point it's consider a success. Duty missions are indicated directly in the title of the mission.

I was under the impression that there were no story missions after Tier 1. When I got to Yavin, I went straight into Duty stuff. The never-ending waves caught me off guard as well...then I realised it was the infinate duty ones.
I got confused, because the first mission was the "capture enemy ships" one, which would seemingly have an end...I just haven't got to it yet. Maybe I will once I've bought my Y-Wing...

This reminds me of the imp Endor escort from Yavin were loads of x-wings and Y-wings come without an end to it until i get slaughtered to death. I get to station to repair, repaired, back in fight finish em off, gone to second part, Another wave, Wow more waves, Death is near, I finish the second part only to get slaughtered by the unfinished B-Wings and A-Wings........Its somewhat related to this thread aint it ? Anyways this is one of the missions you need partners on
